Hon’ble Director of Research (Veterinary), Dr. Prabodh Borah, along with Dr. Dipak Bhuyan, Chief Scientist, Goat Research Station, Burnihat, Assam Agricultural University, visited the model goat farm and beneficiary households in Nalbari district to review the progress of the SITA-sponsored project on Women Empowerment through Assam Hill Goat Rearing.
During the visit, they provided valuable insights to the beneficiaries and members of Anajori Development Society regarding scientific methods of goat rearing. They also addressed various field-level queries, offering practical guidance to improve farm management and productivity.
Latter an interaction session was held between the Members of anajori and benificiary of All india coordinated research program on goat improvement (AICRP) who had came for a field visit under the guidance of Dr Arpana Das, professor ,Animal genetics ,college of veterinary science,Khanapara,Guwahati ,Assam.
